Service Description

Looking to add a unique twist to your organisation's events? Invite a scientist with a passion for bees to lead an enthusiastic discussion about beekeeping, pollination, or any other bee-related topics that pique your interest! You'll discover the secrets behind humanity's long-standing relationship with these amazing insects, learn about the fascinating process of honey-making, and understand how the Queen bee rules over her colony. This talk offers the option of an accompanying PowerPoint presentation or can be a free-flowing conversation based on audience questions. Since bees and beekeeping are multifaceted topics, discussions can easily flow from honey production to pest control and queen creation. All questions are welcome, and this presentation is ideal for mature audiences such as Lions Clubs, Probus Clubs, Retirement Villages, Rotary meetings, and similar organisations. Rest assured that all live bees will be safely contained throughout the presentation, and if desired, a Health and Safety form can be filled out beforehand. This presentation is currently available in the Waikato District, but remote sessions via Zoom (without live bees) are also an option.
